Kim Foster · Broker   |   Mackie Foster · Sales Representative   |   RE/MAX Twin City Realty Inc., Brokerage

Mother + daughter. Two perspectives.

Local experience with a lot of energy behind it.

Kim Foster has worked in real estate since 2008, building her business around strong negotiation, practical advice and long-term client relationships. Born and raised in Cambridge, she understands the community from both a professional and personal perspective.

Mackie Foster brings her own point of view to the team, with an interest in home design, digital content and helping clients understand the process rather than simply moving through it. Together, they offer the experience of an established Broker with the energy of a newer generation of real estate.

They are genuinely fun to work with, but there is nothing casual about the effort. Kim and Mackie work hard, stay involved and keep pushing until the job gets done.

Why they stand out

Hard work is part of the service.

Kim and Mackie are approachable and easy to have a laugh with, but they take the work seriously. Their listings show range, their clients stay at the centre of the process, and when something needs to get done, they get after it.

01 · WORK ETHIC

They stay involved.

There is a difference between coordinating a listing and actively working it. Kim and Mackie put in the effort, communicate and keep the process moving.

02 · PERSONALITY

Professional does not have to mean stiff.

They are fun, direct and easy to work with. That personality helps make a stressful process feel more human without losing focus on the result.

03 · FOLLOW-THROUGH

They get the job done.

Strong preparation, clear marketing and consistent follow-through matter more than hype. That practical mindset is one of the reasons we enjoy working with them.

From See Your House Now

A relationship that travels.

When an exclusive client has a property outside the usual service area, we do our best to make the trip. The goal is to keep the same standard of presentation wherever Kim and Mackie's clients need us.

Selected properties

Different homes. Different stories.

A polished family home, an out-of-town client relationship and a century property full of original character. Good real estate marketing starts by understanding what is worth showing.

Family home
A house built for real life.

A strong renovation, an open main floor and a backyard designed to be used. The marketing focused on the spaces that would matter day to day: the large kitchen, the connection between rooms, strong curb appeal and an outdoor setup with a swim spa and covered entertaining area.

Uxbridge
Good client relationships do not stop at the city line.

For an exclusive client, the assignment took us to Uxbridge. The home gave us plenty to work with: a statement kitchen, a graphic staircase and a beautifully updated bathroom. More importantly, it reflects the kind of long-term client service Kim and Mackie value — and the effort we make to support that relationship.

Century home
Character should look like character.

Built in 1914, this home combines original woodwork, a beautiful staircase, built-ins and warm hardwood with a more modern kitchen and practical updates. The photography was meant to preserve that contrast rather than flatten it into another generic interior.

Seller Q&A

Questions to ask when choosing a Realtor.

These are the kinds of questions sellers should be asking before choosing someone to represent their home — especially when marketing and preparation are part of the decision.

How do I find the best Realtor in Cambridge to sell my home?

Start by looking beyond the sales pitch. A strong listing Realtor should understand the local market, give you a clear plan for preparing the property, explain the pricing strategy, and show you exactly how the home will be marketed. Kim and Mackie Foster bring local Cambridge roots, a team approach and professional real estate media through See Your House Now so the presentation is planned before the listing goes live.

Is it better to work with a real estate team when selling a home?

A team can be valuable when the people involved have complementary strengths and communicate well. Kim brings experience as a Broker and has worked in real estate since 2008. Mackie adds a newer-generation perspective, a strong interest in design and a focus on client education and digital content. Sellers get two people working toward the same result rather than a handoff between strangers.

What should my Realtor do before the real estate photographer arrives?

Preparation matters. The strongest listing presentations usually start before the camera comes out: decluttering, small touch-ups, styling, deciding which features matter most, and making sure the home is ready to be photographed as a complete story. Kim and Mackie work hard, stay involved and understand that the media is part of the selling strategy, not an afterthought.

Does professional photography really matter when selling a house?

Buyers often meet a listing online before they ever see it in person. Professional photography, video, floor plans and other media help them understand the space, notice the strongest features and decide whether to book a showing. The goal is not to make a home look like something it is not; it is to present it clearly, accurately and at its best.

Will Kim and Mackie sell homes outside Cambridge and Waterloo Region?

Their core market is Cambridge and the surrounding area, but they do work beyond it when the client relationship calls for it. A featured Uxbridge listing is a good example. See Your House Now also makes the trip for exclusive clients so the marketing experience stays consistent even when the property is outside the usual service area.

What should I ask a Realtor about marketing before I list my home?

Ask who will prepare the home, what media is included, how the listing will be launched, where buyers will see it, how the Realtor will communicate once the property is live, and what happens if the first strategy needs to change. The best answer is a specific plan, not a promise that every listing is marketed exactly the same way.
